- [x] C1 Gateway sharing: MK01 takes one client; our poll drops my parents' Frisko app.
- [x] C2 Frisko app is used rarely (heating schedule overrides): keep 300 s polls until our UI
replaces it, then the backend is the only client, with a "release gateway" switch for the app.
- [ ] C5 Ask my parents exactly what they change for hot water, and whether they touch heating.
- [x] C5 Parents raise the economy temperature (CWU 4143, CO 4131) to force heating; no tariff.
- [ ] C3 Backup: read and store all editable parameters except the weekly program (read-only).
- [ ] C4 No-op write: write the current value of 4131 back and read it, with me present.

| M1 Reliable reading | Modbus worker and snapshot; config outside the jar; fix D1–D5; layers introduced as code is touched | A week on the Pi without manual action, Grafana unchanged |
| M2 Understand the controller | Register map and timing (safe poll rate, response times) from Frisko code and read-only scans | `docs/frisko/` reviewed; F3 allowlist agreed |
| M3 Read API and web UI | Status, history, health over HTTP; web UI; Traefik route and auth | Parents see live data on their phones |
| M4 First command | One setting end to end with S1–S5, then the rest of the allowlist one by one | A setpoint changed from the phone, verified on the pump |
| M4 First command | Boost (F3) for CWU, then CO, end to end with S1–S5 and automatic restore | Father boosts hot water from his phone, value restored on time |
| M5 Alarms | F4 with notifications | Simulated alarm reaches the phone |
| M6 Native app? | Decide: keep the web UI, WebView wrapper or React Native | Decision recorded |

read or write the intervals. Reading the schedule is therefore not read-only, and the selector
is shared with the panel and the Frisko app. Party mode (4140 = 2, hours in 4142) is a simpler
"heat now" override.
- Setpoints read 2026-10-23: CO eco/comfort 18/19 °C (4131/4132, range 5–35); CWU eco/comfort
8/43 °C (4143/4144, range 5–70); disinfection off (4145 = 0).
- CWU today (Influx, 14 days): the pump heats it daily at ~11:00 and ~17:30 up to ~44 °C
(~15–20 °C/h, pump outlet ~47 °C). Slow morning rises with the pump off come from solar.
- Phone app: direct Modbus TCP, LAN only, 200–300 ms between requests, 5 s timeout.

- F3 Change allowlisted settings. First and most important: heat hot water (CWU) earlier or later
than the weekly program (the only thing my parents use the Frisko app for).
- F3 Change allowlisted settings. First and most important, **boost**: heat hot water (CWU) or
the house (CO) outside the weekly program. Today my father does it in the Frisko app by raising
the economy temperature (CWU 4143, CO 4131) and lowering it later. Our boost raises it for a
chosen time and restores the previous value automatically.
